A suspect in the killing of a John Jay College graduate was apprehended yesterday after he had evaded law enforcement for seven months. Kendrick Lincoln Williams, 32, of Flatlands, Brooklyn, was wanted in connection to the murder of a 23-year-old recent John Jay graduate who had been living with an aunt in North Miami, Stepha Henry, according to published reports.

Henry was last seen leaving a Florida reggae bar with another man on May 29, 2007, according to the reports.

Police said Miami detectives and the New York City police fugitive task force arrested Mr. Williams at the Canarsie Pier early yesterday morning.

John Jay College and Henry’s family had both offered rewards for any information that could solve the case.

Miami-Dade police said Mr. Williams would be charged with second-degree murder.
