Police confiscated 300 marijuana plants and 10 lawn bags filled with marijuana yesterday at a growing facility in Queens, officials said.
Officers in the department’s Street Narcotic Enforcement Unit discovered the home that doubled as a growing facility while on routine patrol in the Floral Park section of Queens, police said.
Police secured the perimeter of the residence and obtained a search warrant. Along with the plants and bags of marijuana, police confiscated several high-powered lights used to grow the drugs. As of press time, police were questioning three individuals but had not made any arrests.
