Police arrested a man and seized 15 illegal weapons from a Brooklyn home yesterday.
The seizure took place when officers, acting on an anonymous tip, executed a search warrant at a home on Homecrest Avenue in Gravesend about noon, police said. Inside, they discovered 15 weapons, including 10 handguns and five machine guns. Three of the guns were loaded, and police found several containers of ammunition.
Police also arrested Nicholas Bianchino, 45, charging him with criminal possession of a weapon. He was in possession of a knife when police executed the warrant at his home, police said.
