Two Pedestrians Struck, Killed in Manhattan

Two people were struck and killed by vehicles today in separate incidents that took place on Seventh Avenue in Manhattan, police officials said.
A 29-year-old female, whose name has not been released because police have yet to contact her family, was killed by a truck on 50th Street and Seventh Avenue at about 2:30 a.m., police said.
Several hours later, a man was struck by a U.S. Postal Service truck while crossing Seventh Avenue at 23rd Street, police said. The victim, who has not been identified, was rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital at about 5:10 a.m., where he died an hour later, police said.
