‘Bush’s Full Monty’
A friend of mine sent me a clipping from “Bush’s Full Monty” [Oped, December 20, 2007].
I was flattered (or maybe disturbed) to be used as a model of President Bush, but the accompanying picture (my, I looked good in 1967) had one error.
The young lady portrayed is not Carol Merril who was the model on the program between 1964 and 1977, but Barbara Lyons, who replaced Carol for three months while Carol was on maternity leave.
Both of these ladies were a delight to work with.
If you want to see me thirty years later, check the PBS TV show on the game show icons, Wednesday, January 23rd.
