SWEET TOOTH Chocolate lovers will celebrate Peter Anton’s exhibit “How Sweet It Is! The Art of Candy.” The large-scale sculptures – made of wood, wire, plaster, clay, and paint – look good enough to eat. One heart-shaped box of candies, “Sweetheart Sampler,” has a “bite” taken out of one piece of chocolate. CAPTURING DANCE Artist Ann Scoville attended performances by the American Ballet Theatre, Merce Cunningham Dance Company, and Mark Morris Dance Group for inspiration for the charcoal and gouache drawings and steel sculptures in her new exhibit, “Dancer Drawings.” Through Sunday, tomorrow-Sunday, 1-6 p.m., Art 101, 101 Grand St., between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, 718-302-2242, free.
PAPER TIGERS Tabla Rasa’s new exhibit, “Paper Cuts,” features artwork from eight artists who cut, tore, pasted, and glued together paper pieces. Erica Harris uses onionskin, birch bark, and eggshells along with vintage photographs and newspaper clippings, and John O’Reilly creates compositions with an old Polaroid camera.
