GABARRON ON CANVAS “The Body Image in Cristobal Gabarron’s Art, 1963-2005” examines the role of figures in work by the Spanish painter. The exhibit was curated by Donald Kuspit. MANY MOONS “Luna Piena” features Judi Harvest’s moon-themed works made from architectural blueprints, resin, Venetian glass, oil paint, and other materials. SUBWAY SKETCHES Laura Cantor, who has worked as a New York City Transit subway car inspector for the past 23 years, displays pastel and charcoal drawings, oil paintings, and Linotype prints of the subway as part of the exhibit “Upon Closer Inspection.” Through April 9, Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday-Sunday, noon-5 p.m., New York Transit Museum, corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn, 718-694-1600, $5 general, $3 seniors and children, members free.
