WRITERS’ RENDEZVOUS
Tonight’s “literary gala” at the American Museum of Natural History is part of the first PEN World Voices festival. The president of PEN, Salman Rushdie, joins the event’s master of ceremonies, NBC’s Brian Williams, to present several awards celebrating freedom of the written word. Dinner is served in the museum’s Milstein Hall of Ocean Life.The events chairmen include Tina Brown and Laurence Kirshbaum.
