JEWISH DOWNTOWN The Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy presents a family tour of downtown sites associated with Jewish history.The stroll ends with a stop at the Fraunces Tavern Museum for a presentation on George Washington’s connection to the Jewish community. Children can participate in a workshop on everyday items from the city in Colonial times, and kosher refreshments are served.The walk is intended for families with children 6 and above. Thursday, 11:15 a.m.-1:30 p.m., meet at the Fraunces Tavern Museum, 54 Pearl St. at Broad Street, 212-374-4100, $10 general in advance, $5 children in advance, $12 general at the door, $7 children at the door, reservations suggested.
