ELEGANT PICTURES Three films by Chinese director EdwardYang are screened: “Yi yi (A One and a Two . . . )” (Friday, 7:30 p.m.), “Guling jie shaonian sha ren shijian (A Brighter Summer Day)” (Saturday, 2 p.m.), and “Kongbu fenzi (The Terrorizer)” (Saturday, 6:30 p.m.). John Anderson, the author of “Edward Yang” (University of Illinois Press), the first study in English of Mr. Yang’s films, will be on hand before “Yi yi” to sign copies of his book and introduce the film.
