TECHNICOLOR PARTY Robert Taylor and Cyd Charisse star in “Party Girl” (1958), screened as part of a retrospective of the work of director Nicholas Ray. Ms. Charisse is a prostitute in Prohibition-era Chicago and Taylor is the outcast lawyer who falls for her. HATE SPEECH StandWithUs, an Israel advocacy and education organization, screens the film “Tolerating Intolerance: Hate Speech on Campus.” The documentary profiles several anti-Israel speakers at American universities. L’AMOUR In Francois Truffaut’s “L’Amour en fuite” (1979), the protagonist, Antoine Doinel, runs from woman to woman. It is the final installment of a series of films folloiwing Antoine’s adventures. Truffaut’s “Antoine and Colette” (1962), a segment from the anthology film “L’Amour a vingt ans,” opens the evening. Both films star Marie-France Pisier, who will perform a one-woman show based on Fabrice Rozie’s play “Transatlantic Liaison” at the end of the month.
