RED GAP MEMORIES The newly rediscovered television musical “Ruggles of Red Gap” (1957) is screened as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival. After the screening, star Jane Powell discusses her memories of mak ing the program. Tonight, 6-8 p.m., the Museum of Television & Radio, 25 W. 52nd St., 212-621-6600, tickets included with general museum admission. DUTCH TREAT Dutch contemporary filmmaker Peter Delpeut’s “Lyrical Nitrate” (1990), a blend of hundreds of handcolored clips from silent films, is screened with “The Forbidden Quest” (1992), in which he used new and archival footage to tell the story of the survivor of a dangerous expedition. The screening is part of an ongoing series focusing on Mr. Delpeut and his fellow Dutch filmmaker Jos de Putter.
