GLOBAL GOODIES The American Museum of Natural History continues its international-food series Adventures in the Global Kitchen with a lecture on the evolution of taste. The event features a tasting of sweet and savory foods and wines. Panelists include food writer Harold McGee,chef Bill Yoses, and professors Lionel Tiger and Vanina Leschziner. ST. PATRICK’S KICKOFF The Irish Arts Center presents a benefit luncheon in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day.
