NEW JEWISH MUSIC
Baysa Schecter and Pharaoh’s Daughter perform “swirling Chasidic chants” and Mizrachi and Sephardic folk rock. The group shares a bill with the pan-Jewish group Jewlia Eisenberg and Charming Hostess at a concert that’s part of a series celebrating the 10th anniversary of Tzadik Records. Composer John Zorn serves as host to the series. Tomorrow, 7 p.m., Museum of Jewish Heritage, Edmond J. HAPPY FELLAS
The New York Pops present a musical tribute to composers Leroy Anderson and Frank Loesser. The program includes Anderson’s “The Captains and the Kings” and “The Typewriter,” along with songs from Loesser’s musicals “The Most Happy Fella,” “Guys and Dolls,” and “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.” Friday, 8 p.m., Carnegie Hall, Isaac Stern Auditorium, 881 Seventh Ave. at 57th Street, 212-247-7800, $24-$95.

Ok Go, a band that “This American Life” host Ira Glass has described as “part indie rock, part stadium rock, part straight up pop,” performs at Williamsburg’s Northsix. Other highlights upcoming at Northsix: sold-out shows by the Fiery Furnaces (Thursday, April 7) and Sonic Youth (Tuesday, April 12), and a performance by downtown soft-blues crooners Ambulance Ltd. (Friday, April 15).
