DANGER ZONE The Archives Listening Project is a monthly gathering devoted to “obscure, lost, or forgotten” musicians and albums. Up next is an evening devoted to “The Grey Album,” DJ Danger Mouse’s 2004 mash-up of the Beatles’ “White Album” and Jay-Z’s “Black Album.” Though the Beatles’ label protested that “The Grey Album” was an unlicensed use of their property, the strategy backfired and Danger Mouse’s homemade product became one of the most downloaded illegal albums ever. Danger Mouse recently finished producing an album for the band Gorillaz. Tonight, 9 p.m., 12″ Bar, 179 Essex St., between Stanton and Houston streets, 212-505-6027, free.
COLOMBIAN KEYS Pianist Blanca Uribe performs a recital of works by Colombian composers. Tomorrow, 8 p.m., Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall, 881 Seventh Ave. at 57th Street, 212-247-7800, $30-$35.
BEAT IT The young percussion group Line C3 performs as part of a concert series hosted by the Tenri Cultural Center. Friday, 8 p.m., Tenri Cultural Center, 43A W. 13th St., between Fifth and Sixth avenues, 212-645-2800, $15 general, $10 students.
