ODE TO A BRIDGE
A “poetry walk” across the Brooklyn Bridge celebrates the 100th birthday of the co-founder of Poets House, Stanley Kunitz. The walk puts literary strollers in the company of poets Lucille Clifton, Galway Kinnell, Billy Collins, and the winner of the 2004 National Book Award for poetry, Jean Valentine. Readings take place near City Hall, on the bridge, and at the Fulton Ferry Landing. Proceeds go to Poets House.
