An exhibit opening this weekend explores the life and discoveries of Charles Darwin. Highlights include live Galapagos tortoises, horned frogs, and an iguana, along with fossil specimens collected by Darwin. The exhibit also addresses the controversies that have surrounded the theory of evolution since it was put forth more than 150 years ago.Saturday through May 29, 2006, open daily except Thanksgiving and Christmas, 10 a.m.-5:45 p.m., American Museum of Natural History, 79th Street and Central Park West, 212-769-5100, $25 general, $20.50 students and seniors, $16 children.
