O, CANADA The president of the Harlem Children’s Zone charter school, Geoffrey Canada, discusses how families can use reading as a way of bonding. Mr. Canada, a Bronx native, also reads from his books “Fist Stick Knife Gun: A Personal History of Violence in America” (Beacon Press) and “Reaching Up for Manhood: Transforming the Lives of Boys in America” (Beacon Press).
