FAITH AND RATIONALITY Philosopher Daniel Dennett talks with a professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist studies at Columbia University, Robert Thurman, about the evolution of organized religion and why it is such a potent force today. He is the author of the new book “Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon” (Viking). Tonight, 8 p.m., Columbia University, Miller Theatre, 2960 Broadway at 116th Street, 212-854-7799, $15.
