RUN FOR THE BORDER A new one-woman play by poet and performance artist Staceyann Chin follows her growth from Jamaican child to New York woman. “Border/Clash” is directed by Rob Urbinati. UNFAITHFUL FRIENDS A revival of the 1976 Landford Wilson drama “Serenading Louie” begins previews tonight. The play tells the story of two suburban couples, including an ex-football star married to a former homecoming queen, dealing with infidelity. Lisa Mitchell directs the If Ensemble production. JULIE REJUVENATED Craig Lucas’s adaptation of August Strindberg’s 1888 drama “Miss Julie,” about an artistocratic woman who has an affair with her father’s butler, is based on a translation by director Anders Cato. Mr. Lucas is nominated for a Tony for Best Book of a Musical for “The Light in the Piazza,” now playing at the Lincoln Center Theater. WHALE WIT A one-man version of “Moby-Dick” stars the playwright, Christopher Moore, as Ishmael, Quee-Queg, and Captain Ahab.
