NOVEL IDEA Writers Laurie Stone, Ranbir Sidhu, and Grant Bailie are living in separate, specially designed habitats and working on their new novels. They dine together every night and present weekly public readings of their works in progress. The public can also watch the writers at work during viewing hours. On June 4, the authors will emerge, having produced one novel each. Public readings: Saturdays, 8 p.m. Closing party: Saturday, June 4, 7-10 p.m. Viewing hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 3-5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, noon-4 p.m., Flux Factory, 3838 43rd St., between 37th and Northern avenues, Long Island City, Queens, 718-707-3362, free.
