A former top official at one of the city’s largest subsidized housing complexes was charged with conspiracy yesterday in a $100,000 bribery scheme.

Federal prosecutors say the former president of the board at the Bronx’s Co-op City, Iris Herskowitz Baez, was involved in a kickback scheme that steered a $3.5 million contract to a painter. Ms. Baez faces up to 15 years in jail.
