The rapper Fabolous was shot, then arrested yesterday after police found two loaded guns in a car he and his entourage were riding in away from a shooting at a Manhattan parking garage.
Police said the 28-year-old Brooklyn rapper, John Jackson, was arrested after being taken to Bellevue Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right thigh.
Authorities said Mr. Jackson and three others told police they had finished dinner at Justin’s – a West 21st Street restaurant owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs – when they were attacked in a nearby parking lot. However, they allegedly sped off in a 2005 Dodge Magnum, and were stopped by police after running a red light at East 22nd Street and Third Avenue. During the traffic stop, police found the two guns inside the vehicle. The foursome, including Mr. Jackson, Kevin Bass, 18, Percell Germain, 23, and Rascharm Davis, 29, were charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a defaced firearm.
