Robbery at Upper East Side Lingerie Shop

Police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a 77-year-old woman in the hand today during a robbery attempt at a lingerie store on the Upper East Side, police officials said.
After walking into Lingerie & Co, located on 3rd Avenue between 70th and 71st streets, at about 1:30 p.m., the suspect pulled out a knife, and announced he was robbing the store, police said.
During the robbery attempt, the victim, who was not identified, suffered a stab wound to the hand, police said. She was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she remained in stable condition, police said.
Police are investigating whether the suspect took money or goods from the store, police said.
