The older sister of a woman indicted in connection with the execution-style killing of her estranged husband in Queens was arrested yesterday for intimidating and tampering with a witness. Natella Natanova, 39, allegedly pulled her car up next to Gaviril Malakov, who is the brother of the murder victim, Daniel Malakov, and said to him, “You should know if you talk, you will be the next to go,” according to the complaint filed in Queens Criminal Court. Ms. Natanova’s sister, Mazoltuv Borukhova, was indicted for conspiring to kill Malakov in October. Dr. Borukhova allegedly directed Mikhail Mallayev, her uncle by marriage, to shoot Malakov in a park in Queens.
If convicted, Ms. Natanova faces up to four years in prison.
