Two Men Found Dead At Bottom of Elevator Shaft

Police are investigating the deaths of two men, found dead at the bottom of an elevator shaft in Queens yesterday afternoon.
Police said officers were called to 57th Avenue in Elmhurst around 5:15 p.m., when they discovered two men believed to be in their 20s, both unconscious at the bottom of an elevator shaft.
Rescue workers pronounced the men dead at the scene.
Police did not immediately identify either victim. An investigation is ongoing, police said.
