Two teenagers were stabbed in Washington Heights yesterday morning, leaving one in critical condition, police said.

A 16-year-old boy was in critical condition and a 15-year-old boy was in stable condition at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital after another 15-year-old boy stabbed them at West 190th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue just after 8 a.m., police said.

The teenage suspect was arrested yesterday.

Police said they were investigating the cause of the dispute that led to the stabbing and believed it may have stemmed from a previous fight over the weekend. They said they did not believe the fight was gang related.
