‘Glamorizing History at City Museum’

Ronald Radosh deserves high praise for bringing the Museum of the City of New York to book for its grossly falsifying new exhibition on the Spanish Civil War, “Facing Fascism: New York and the Spanish Civil War,” which attempts to pawn off the dupes of Stalin and the Comintern as “an inspiration to all … the best of our country and the best of our conscience” [Arts&Letters, “Glamorizing History at City Museum,” March 22, 2007].

Too often, tenured radicals in our universities are given free rein to present their Marxist hobbyhorses as legitimate history. Mr. Radosh shows what poor beasts these hobbyhorses really are.
