Shiny sportswear ruled the runway at Generra, where designer Pina Ferlisi was inspired by punk art. The presentation included jersey dresses with a liquid-like finish, metallic knits, and high-gloss patent leather bomber jackets. A “lipstick and chalk painted” animal-like print, and high-waist sweater tube skirts were recurring themes in the day-to-evening ensembles. Lustrous grays and sapphire blues were the most prominent colors of the collection, which also comprised a jacquard minidress in yellow with white pinwheel-like embellishments. The menswear was preppy with a rebellious streak. In one look, a pair of long, pinstriped shorts was worn with a slub French terrycloth hoodie in charcoal; in another, those shorts were paired with a flame-colored bomber jacket and a matching cashmere polo.
