Reverse Shot Presents (Makor @ 92nd Street Y)

Did it really take this long for someone to program “Before Sunrise” and “Before Sunset” as a double feature? Kudos to the avid cinephiles of reverseshot.com for kicking off their inaugural “Reverse Shot Presents” series with Richard Linklater’s glorious romantic diptych (April 2). I’m so not buying their defense of “The Village” (April 9) as “one of the most misread films of the last 10 years,” but I’m thrilled to see the return of “demonlover” (April 4) and cult favorite “Pulse,” (April 5), along with a sneak peak at the visionary “Tropical Malady,” (April 6) a strong candidate for the best film of 2005.
