Aston Martin needs money, and the easiest way for a marque like this to raise it is to sell eye-wateringly expensive limited-run models to demanding collectors. It did that with the Valkyrie and Valhalla, but both were developmental nightmares — the Valkyrie ran two years late, and the Valhalla went through repeated postponements. Aston can hardly afford another one.
