MAJOR MARKS The exhibit “Marks of Distinction,” closing this weekend, celebrates the 20th anniversary of Dartmouth College’s Hood Museum of Art. The show includes work from 200 years of American drawings and watercolors. Artists whose work is on view include Mary Cassatt, John James Audubon, Winslow Homer, Benjamin West, James McNeill Whistler, Jackson Pollock, Agnes Martin, Eva Hesse, John Singer Sargent, Jacob Lawrence, Romare Bearden, and Lee Bontecou. Through Saturday, today and tomorrow, noon-5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., National Academy Museum, 1083 Fifth Ave. at 89th Street, 212-369-4880, $10 general, $5 seniors and students.
