ARTFUL DODGERS The Brooklyn Public Library marks the 50th anniversary of the Brooklyn Dodgers’ World Series victory, three years before they left New York. The library offers several events throughout the weekend. Sports writer Dave Anderson talks about covering the Dodgers as a reporter (Saturday, 1 p.m.). The film “The Jackie Robinson Story,” in which Robinson himself starred, is screened (Saturday, 4:30 p.m.). And authors Neil Sullivan, Bob McGee, and Andy Mele, who have all written about the team, participate in a panel discussion on “the Dodgers and the heart of Brooklyn” (Sunday, 3:30 p.m.).
