PRINCE CHARMING
A gala benefit for the New York Festival of Song celebrates the body of work of theater impresario Harold Prince.”A Prince of a Fella” begins with a concert of songs from Broadway shows Mr. Prince has produced or directed, such as “West Side Story,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” and “Phantom of the Opera.” Singers Mary Cleere Haran, Jason Danieley, and Brent Barrett are accompanied by the artistic director of the Nyfos, Steven Blier, on the piano. A dinner at nearby Shelly’s New York follows. Tuesday, 7 p.m. performance, Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall, 881 Seventh Ave. at 57th Street, 8:30 p.m. dinner, Shelly’s New York, 104 W. 57th St. at Sixth Avenue, 646-230-8380, $500 and $750.
