HOLY GRAIL The editor in chief of Living Bird magazine, Tim Gallagher,gives a slide presentation based on his new book “The Grail Bird: Hot on the Trail of the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker” (Houghton Mifflin). Mr. Gallagher’s 2004 sighting of the supposedly extinct bird touched off a massive search for the so-called Lord God Bird throughout the Louisiana bayou. A signing follows. THE FALCONER The Urban Park Rangers host the annual Falconry Extravaganza, which includes watching the flying acrobatics of condors, a Eurasian kestrel, a bald eagle, and a red-tailed hawk.
