LOVERBOY Canadian writer Susan Swan reads from her mystery novel “What Casanova Told Me” (Bloomsbury), about an investigation into a romance between Casanova and a young Puritan relative of John Adams. A parallel story set in the present day follows a descendent of Adams as she traces a similar path through Europe. ALONE BUT NOT LONELY The author of “Quirkyalone: A Manifesto for Uncompromising Romantics” (HarperSan-Francisco), Sasha Cagen,reads from her celebration of singleness. She’ll also discuss the network of clubs and adult summer camps the book spawned. The event takes place at Bluestockings Bookstore, which has recently reopened after a renovation and expansion.
