MONTH OF MORRIS The Mark Morris Dance Group’s month long 25th-anniversary season, which opens this weekend at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, includes large-scale dances and operas, studio works, live music, lectures, and a film series curated by Mr. Morris. Mr. Morris hosts a “karaoke extravaganza” this weekend (Saturday, 9 p.m., free). Next week, Mr. Morris talks with collaborators Isaac Mizrahi, Robert Bordo, and Maira Kalman (Monday, 7 p.m., $8 general, $4 members). JOIN THE PARTY The Peggy Spina Tap Company celebrates its 25th anniversary with a two-weekend performance event featuring both new dances and repertory pieces.
