PIRATE PIROUETTES The American Ballet Theatre presents “Le Corsaire,” an exotic tale of a pirate’s love for a harem girl. The performance is part of ABT’s summer season of family-friendly programming. Tonight, 8 p.m., Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Opera House, 212-362-6000, $22-$160.


HAMPTONS HOLIDAY This weekend’s Hamptons fun kicks off with the annual American Picnic, capped with a fireworks display over the Shinnecock Bay set to patriotic tunes. Families can enjoy hot dogs and ice cream, carnival booths, and art projects. The summer celebration takes place at a private ocean-front home.
