LONELY HEARTS Nicholas Ray’s “In a Lonely Place” (1950) is screened tonight. Humphrey Bogart and Gloria Grahame star in the story of a screenwriter accused of murder and the sweet neighbor who lends him an alibi and a romance. FILM AL FRESCO Socrates Sculpture Park’s open-air film festival kicks off with “Greek Night,” featuring a screening of “Zorba the Greek” (1964).The film, starring Anthony Quinn as a Greek peasant, is projected on a large screen set against the Manhattan skyline. The band Mikrokosmos provides tunes and Opa! Souvlaki offers Greek food for sale. Moviegoers can also bring their own picnics. Upcoming highlights in the series, which devotes each night to a different ethnic group represented in Queens: Wim Wenders’s Cuban documentary “Buena Vista Social Club” (July 13) and the South Korean coming-of-age story “Take Care of My Cat” (July 27).
