GANGS OF NEW YORK The stylized thriller “The Warriors” (1979), in which a spunky New York street gang battles its way to Coney Island from the Bronx, is screened as part of the series “Digital Play Goes to the Movies.” A vintage arcade video game based on the film is also on display; it bears little resemblance to the brand new “Warriors” video game set in a recognizable digital version of New York City. Friday, 7:30 p.m., Museum of the Moving Image, 35th Avenue at 36th Street, Astoria, Queens, 718-784-0077, $10 general, $7.50 seniors and students, free for members.
