BROOKLYN IN THE SPOTLIGHT BAMcinematek presents two weeks of Brooklyn-themed films to honor the borough’s bygone eras. Today, the festival screens “It Happened in Brooklyn,” a tribute to the Brooklyn Dodgers that was filmed during the 1941 World Series at Ebbets Field. An introduction by Brooklyn historian John Manbeck precedes the first screening. CAMEROON COURT Filmmaker Kim Longinotto discusses her new film, “Sisters in Law: Stories From a Cameroon Court,” before a screening.
