HAUNTED HOUSE Morris-Jumel Mansion, Manhattan’s oldest house, offers its annual Halloween family event, which includes scary stories and ghostly games. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume. The event is intended for families with children ages 5 to 13. Friday, 4-6 p.m., Morris-Jumel Mansion, 65 Jumel Terrace, between 160th and 162nd streets, 212-923-8008, free, reservations required.
AMAZING INDEED The Amazing Kreskin promises that audience members will see, feel, and touch ghosts during his Special Halloween Show. Friday, 8 p.m., New York Society for Ethical Culture, Concert Hall, 2 W. 64th St. at Central Park West, 212-307-7171, $30.

FLOATING PUMPKINS Participants in the 14th annual Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Sail bring their carved jacko’-lanterns for a parade around the Harlem Meer. Prizes go to the best costumes and best jack-o’-lanterns (less than 10 pounds). The event concludes with a floating of the candlelit pumpkins across the water. Saturday, 2-5 p.m., Charles A. SCARY STREETS The Gotham City Ghost Tour focuses on the spooky past of Greenwich Village. Stops include the cemetery at St. Mark’s Church, the burial ground at Washington Square, the 19th-century public execution site known as the “hanging elm,” and Edgar Allen Poe’s home. Monday’s tour ends at the Halloween Parade at Sixth Avenue. Saturday, 4 and 6:15 p.m., Sunday, 12:30 and 2:45 p.m., Monday, 6 p.m., 212-465-3331 for reservations and meeting place, $13.
HAUNTED STROLL The Urban Park Rangers lead a spooky lantern tour of the historic battery in newly opened Fort Totten Park. Saturday, 6-7:30 p.m., Fort Totten Battery, 212th Street and Bell Boulevard, Bayside, Queens, 718-352-4793, ext. 16, free.
