NORDIC NOTES The Nordic Nights jazz series presents a performance by the Ole Mathisen Anomaly, led by a Norwegian saxophonist. The weekly series features live jazz with Nordic influences, presented on a secluded terrace. WORLD BEAT Balkan Beat Box, a band of New Yorkers, Israelis, Africans, and Bulgarians led by Ori Kaplan and Tamir Muskat, plays one night only two months before the release of its debut album. The group combines folk, electronic beats, and video projections for a performance-meets-dance-party feel. INDIAN JAZZ The North Indian jazz ensemble Alankar performs tonight. The group includes tabla player Badal Roy, guitarist Ken Wessel, and bassist Stomu Takeishi. Tonight, 9:30 p.m., Satalla, 37 W. 26th St., between Broadway and Sixth avenue, 212-576-1155, $15.
