HANDEL AND RUTTER London composer John Rutter conducts a concert of Handel’s “Messiah” and his own “Mass of the Children.” Performers include soprano Serena Benedetti, mezzo-soprano Jennifer Roderer, tenor William Ferguson, and bass-baritone Jeremy Galyon. FAST-FOOD MUSIC Artist Christian Holstad decorated a functioning jukebox with common materials and found objects as part of a public art project inside a McDonald’s. After its two-week run, the work, presented by the Art Production Fund, will move to several other locations throughout the city. BACH AT BARTHOLOMEW’S Flutist Eugenia Zukerman and harpsichordist Anthony Newman, who perform together annually at the New York Public Library, make their debut at St. Bartholomew’s Church. ODE TO BERLIN Max Raabe and his 12-piece Palast Orchester celebrate the golden age of Berlin cabaret with a turnback-the-clock performance.The ensemble plays songs from the 1920s and ’30s along with some contemporary pieces.
