OPENING PERFORMANCE The Da Capo Chamber Players open their 36th season with “Commissions Past and Present,” a program of the group’s own collaborations with composers. Works include Eric Chasalow’s “Flute Concerto (Three Love Poems),” and Philippe Bodin’s “Peal.” Performers include clarinetist Meighan Stoops and cellist André Emelianoff. PET SOUNDS A founding member of the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson, performs selections from “Smile,” a widely praised album the composer began working on in 1966 and abandoned before finally completing it, with help from producer Van Dyke Parks, in 2004.
