TALK DIRTY Ars Nova presents a staged reading of Elizabeth Meriwether’s “The Mistakes Madeline Made.” The play follows three personal assistants, living in close quarters, who are afflicted with ablutophobia – the fear of bathing. Evan Cabnet directs the reading, with a cast that includes Austin Lysy, Colleen Werthmann, and Michael Chernus.The event is an installment of the Next Step, a workshop that provides playwrights with the chance to develop and rewrite their work. Today, 2 p.m., Ars Nova, 511 W. 54th St., between Tenth and Eleventh avenues, 212-977-1700, free.
