LOVE IN WAR The Staten Island Historical Society presents a reading from the Civil War love letters written by a Staten Island resident, Captain Charles W. Kennedy, to his wife, Catherine. The reading, which is presented in conjunction with the exhibit “The Romance of the Fan,” is a co-production with Staten Island OutLOUD.Sunday, 2 p.m., Historic Richmond Town, 441 Clarke Ave., at St. Patrick’s Place, Staten Island, 718-351-1611, free.
