SMALL START “To One I Saw Small,” a “visual comedy,” incorporates theater, video, and elements of dance to tell the story of a jaded spelling-bee champion who finds first love with a shy guitarist. Her love affair prompts her parents, a failed inventor and a voluntarily mute woman, to recall their own young love. The show was written, directed, and choreographed by Cristina Septien. It is presented in conjunction with South Pleasant Company, a theater group specializing in movement theater. Tomorrow, 8 p.m., Ars Nova Theater, 511 W. 54th St., between Tenth and Eleventh avenues, 212-868-4444, $15.
