MAN MEETS TIGER Ami Dayan presents his one-man production of “A Tale of a Tiger,” an Israeli-American adaptation of a play by Italian playwright Dario Fo. Based on an ancient Chinese folk tale, the story follows a Chinese soldier in Mao’s army who, after being left for dead on the battlefield, is seized by a tiger and her cub. Israeli composer Ran Bagno provides music. Sunday’s performance has been adapted for children ages 5 and above. IN PRAISE OF POE Poefest, a festival of new plays, celebrates “the spirit of Edgar Allan Poe” – from musicals to monologues. The festival features seven programs, each of which are comprised of one to three presentations. Each evening of the festival will begin with a reading of one of Poe’s works.
