SPARKLY SWEATERS The group Leslie and the Lys performs hip-hop songs about the power of sweaters covered in gems and gold lamé. SELF-PROTECT TheDrillingCompaNY’s “Security2,” directed by the artistic director of the company, Hamilton Clancy, is a program of nine one-act plays about personal and national security. Represented playwrights include Justin Boyd, Yvette Sirker, and Renée Flemmings. Tonight through Sunday, November 19, Wednesday–Friday, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, 2 and 7:30 p.m., Sunday, 3 p.m. (only on November 19th), 78th Street Theatre Lab, 236 W. 78th St., between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue, 212-414-7717, $15.
